Hosting and access
Your company owns where the automation runs.
Use an n8n environment you already operate, or create a Railway project your company owns. Symao gets the access needed to build and maintain supported workflows.
Two supported paths
Choose the path that matches your team.
We confirm the final hosting and access plan during onboarding.
Use your existing n8n
This is the faster path when your team already owns and operates a suitable environment.
- Persistent database and storage
- HTTPS, logs, backups, and failure alerts
- Named technical owner
- A supported n8n version and upgrade path
- Named, least-privilege access for Symao
Start on Railway
This is the simplest new-hosting path for most Automation Partner clients.
- Your company creates the Railway account
- Your company adds and owns billing
- Symao receives project Editor access
- Symao deploys and configures n8n
- Your company keeps the project, data, and vendor relationship

The customer owns the account and costs. Symao operates the supported runtime and workflows through named project access.
Railway setup
Five steps, with ownership clear from day one.
New Railway customers can start with Symao's optional referral link.
01Open the referral link
Start with Symao's Railway referral link if your company is new to Railway. Eligible new users may receive $20 in Railway credits. Eligibility and credits are controlled by Railway and can change.
02Create the company account
Sign up with a company-controlled identity and create the workspace under your business. Avoid building the production environment under Symao's account.
03Add a billing method
Choose the appropriate Railway plan and add the payment method your company wants Railway to charge. Railway bills usage directly to you.
04Invite Symao to the project
Create the project, then invite the Symao account provided during onboarding as an Editor. Editor access supports deployment and configuration without transferring billing ownership.
05Symao completes the runtime
Symao deploys n8n, configures the database and persistent storage, adds the domain, verifies logs and backups, and records the operating details.
Do not email API keys or passwords. Once the runtime is ready, credentials are entered directly into n8n or shared through an approved password or secrets manager.
Costs
The service and the infrastructure stay separate.
That keeps hosting usage visible and the account transferable.

- Your company pays providers directly
*This range is a planning estimate, not a quote or guarantee. Railway pricing, plan minimums, usage, referral eligibility, and credits can change. Review current Railway pricing before selecting a plan.
Credentials
Access follows the workflow.
We review what the workflow needs before asking for accounts or keys.
01Identify the action
Document which system the workflow reads or changes and which permissions are actually required.
02Create named access
Prefer client-owned OAuth apps, service accounts, or API credentials with the smallest practical permission scope.
03Enter or share securely
Enter credentials directly into n8n with Symao present, or use an approved client password manager or secrets manager.
04Record and revoke
Document the credential owner, purpose, scope, rotation path, and the workflows that use it without recording the secret value.
Common questions
Before you create anything.
We can confirm your path during onboarding.
Does Symao own the Railway account?
No. Your company owns the workspace, billing, project, data, domain, and vendor relationship.
Do we have to use Railway?
No. We can use an existing n8n environment when it has suitable storage, backups, logs, HTTPS, ownership, and access.
Is the referral link required?
No. It is an optional link for new Railway customers. Railway determines eligibility and applies any credit.
Should Symao pay Railway and invoice us?
Not by default. Direct client ownership creates less billing friction and makes the environment easier to transfer or manage later.
Can credentials go in the onboarding form?
No. Do not place passwords, API keys, tokens, or private certificates in the intake form, email, chat, or screenshots.
Bring the hosting questions to onboarding.
You do not need to create a Railway account before the first call. We will confirm whether you need one.
